A Press Conference, Online Chat & the First Public Lecture

Here are the first updates on what is going on! First, there is going to be a press conference tomorrow (Wednesday Apr 7) at 1 p.m. with Vasek and Pavel talking about the Bergans Baikal 2010 Expedition and their successful crossing of the lake Baikal. The conference will take place in the Prague City Hall (Prague, Mariánské Square 2, door no. 123). The Mayor of the City of Prague, Pavel Bem, will also attend the conference as the expedition was under his patronage.

Before the conference, at 11 a.m there will be an online chat with Pavel and Vasek - you may ask the guys anything you want to know. You may start sending your questions since today at this link. Or you may just read what other people asked if you don’t know what to ask them :-)

Then, on Friday (Apr 9) you may look forward the first public lecture about the expedition. Pavel and Vašek are coming to Řež to the Polepšovna Ducha club to talk about their adventure, show some of the beautiful pictures and funny videos. Check the website of the club for more info. If you wonder why in Řež (which is such a small and unimportant village :-) - it’s simply because this village has somehow became Pavel’s second (or rather third as Denver in Colorado is the second :-) home and he likes it there and has lots of friends there. Don’t worry if you don’t make it to this particular lecture - there will be a number of other lectures, talks and exhibitions in the upcoming months.

You may look forward to two exhibitions which are already set. Both will take place in Prague - the first one in June 2010 in the Shopping Center Letňany, the second will be an outdoor exposition and will take place in July at Vyšehrad, Prague. We hope we will also have the documentary movie done by the end of June so we can make a big opening for both the movie and the second exhibition. Keep checking this website for more info!
